Great 80 Race Update

The Great 80 Race is coming together really well so far. We have had great support from Summit City Bikes, Uptopian Coffee, and are continually looking for other sponsors to come on board to add some additional fun to the event.

Being that this is our first event like this, we're learning as we go and are always open to input. We did add some FAQs to the event page. So, check those out if you want. If you have additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We'll reply as soon as well.

The route is almost completely planned. If you're wanting to know what it's going to be, I can't tell you because that's part of the fun of this unique event. Everyone is in the same boat and won't be able to see the route until that morning when you get a route card that will have all the turns and mileage between them on it. Most of the route covers familiar roads if you're from/ride Allen County much. If you don't know where you're at, chances someone from your group will. That's the fun of doing this as a team. You'll need them to get through the event.

Plan on coming ready to ride and ready to hang out afterwards as we'll be grilling out some amazing food and swapping stories from the day.

Oh, and the goodie bag is shaping up to be a great mix of stuff that will make you feel like you've gotten the good end of the $30 per rider entry fee. But, it's not about the swag as much as it is about having a great day on the bike.
