NIGHT MOVES | RACE 4 RECAP

What a golden night! We had an amazing turn out and a great course. The course also had a fun but difficult surprise finish. Yes that parking garage portion was no fun, but the view for the fireworks was amazing! If you were new to Night Moves, welcome! If this was your 9th Night Moves, thanks for continuing to be so excited about our run series!

We love putting on these events because we care more about building community among a group of like minded folks rather than just organizing events. There were many new faces and we loved meeting you. We look forward to seeing you at the next race! Again, this community is like no other and we love you all!

This event would not have been possible without the help of our faithful volunteers and host. Thanks The Golden for hosting and providing such a great venue. It wasn’t planned, but the Tincaps fireworks at the end of the race was something special. (The boxer beer was a treat as well!) Thank you to all our volunteers! This was the best response we got for people wanting to volunteer! Love it. Lets bring that to some of our projects in the future. You all brought such great energy, and all the cute pets needed to help our runners have such a good time! We would like to thank you for taking the time to help direct and encourage the participants during the run. It's always refreshing to see a smiling face in the middle of a run. Also, thanks to Lake City Bank for coming out to show support! We would also give a special thanks to the Scagnoli family. They have been faithful volunteers for every single race!

This run generated almost $700 that will go directly toward a veterans broken furnace. Thank you everyone that runs and supports these events. Please keep sharing this event with your friends and help us continue to grow!

We love being able to help our neighbors, and each Night Moves helps a different neighbor with a project beyond their physical and financial ability. Running is fun, cycling is fun, but what really brings us joy is using running and cycling to help our neighbors in need. So, thank you all for participating in Night Moves!

Oh... and cause its nice to mention the really fast people, here were the top times. Robert Peck led the men with a time of 19:01 and Sam Plamann led the way for the ladies with an insane time of 21:44. Our course was just about a 5k and definitely had some elevation changes.

Check out the photos to see how sweet this event was!
